This week was a pretty eventful week for some of us. Jim celebrated his birthday with lots of special homemade gifts from JT and Ella, and our first attempt at a cake from scratch....it actually was very good!
He also had to play Mr. Mom this week because I came down with a nasty scottish virus which has left me with a cough and fever for about 9 days now....good news is that I feel like I am finally on the mend!
Yesterday was also our Fall Festival at Blacket. The Festival was a community event for the flats here organized by a bunch of the moms. We had cupcakes/carmel apples/candy corn (from the States!), fingernail painting, face painting, and various games and activities. Once again Jim took the crew as my fever kept me inside, but I could hear all the laughter and fun and here are some pictures from the event.
